Als je ziek bent of om een andere reden niet naar de les kunt komen ontvang ik graag bericht via Signal of WhatsApp. Liefst de dag vantevoren, maar uiterlijk op de ochtend zelf, met een maximum van 3 keer per jaar. Die les kunnen we dan op een later tijdstip inhalen. Geplande afwezigheid buiten de schoolvakanties overleggen we samen.

Mocht ik onverhoopt ziek of afwezig zijn, dan kan de gemiste les worden ingehaald – of ik zorg voor een passende vervanger. Door mijn werk als tourende muzikant kan het heel incidenteel voorkomen dat een les moet worden verzet.

Bij bijzondere omstandigheden zoals een pandemie/brand/overstroming of ander onheil gaan de lessen gewoon door, online of op een andere locatie.

If you’re sick or unable to attend the lesson for another reason, I’d appreciate a message via Signal or WhatsApp. Preferably the day before, but at least on the morning itself, with a maximum of 3 times a year. We can then reschedule that lesson at a later time. Planned absence outside of school holidays, we’d discuss together.

In the event that I am unexpectedly ill or absent, the missed lesson can be made up – or I’ll arrange for a suitable replacement. Due to my work as a touring musician, it may very occasionally happen that a lesson needs to be rescheduled.

In the case of extraordinary circumstances such as a pandemic/fire/flood or other disaster, the lessons will continue as normal, online or at a different location.
