Ik ben Arno Landsbergen, een gepassioneerd en veelzijdig muzikant.

Mijn hele jeugd heb ik klassieke piano gestudeerd. Als tiener leerde ik daarnaast blues-georienteerde stijlen als ragtime en boogie woogie spelen, waarmee ik geimproviseerde pianostijlen kon ontwikkelen. Ook leerde ik piano integreren in pop- en rockmuziek – ik bespeel veel zogenoemde ‘classic keys’ zoals Hammond orgel, Rhodes, Clavinet en analoge synths.

Ik geef met heel veel plezier pianoles. Daarnaast treed ik veelvuldig op in theaters, op poppodia en festivals en werk ik als componist/arrangeur/studiomuzikant.

Op maandagen en dinsdagen geef ik les bij de MuziekFabriek in Eindhoven, op Strijp-S: een fijne muziekschool in een creatieve omgeving.

Op donderdagen geef ik pianoles op een mooie plek in Amsterdam, op de Wittenburgergracht 189, naast de Oosterkerk.

I am Arno Landsbergen, a passionate and versatile musician.

I studied classical piano throughout my childhood. As a teenager, I additionally learned blues-oriented styles like ragtime and boogie woogie, developing improvised piano styles. I also learned to integrate piano into pop and rock music – I play many so-called ‘classic keys’ such as Hammond organ, Rhodes, Clavinet, and analogue synths.

I thoroughly enjoy giving piano lessons. In addition, I perform regularly in theatres, at pop venues and festivals, and work as a composer/arranger/studio musician.

On Mondays and Tuesdays, I teach at the MuziekFabriek in Eindhoven, at Strijp-S: a pleasant music school in a creative environment.

On Thursdays, I give piano lessons in a beautiful location in Amsterdam, at Wittenburgergracht 189, next to the Oosterkerk.

Ik vind zijn lessen vooral leuk omdat je echt iets leert en dat dan op een creatieve manier. Ook is het echt heel vet dat Arno pianist is bij de Def Americans! Gewoon een professionele muzikant als leraar, wie wil dat nou niet?”
